The Center received a two-year $300,000 grant from the Florida Bar Association and the Florida Office of the Attorney General to conduct a statewide project examining how antiterrorism measures can be reconciled with civil and human rights safeguards. As part of this project, the Center is convening and facilitating discussion forums throughout the state between leaders of Florida’s Islamic communities and Florida law enforcement officials.
