Tessa Cannizzaro , Summer 2026 Travel Placement

A student at Florida State University majoring in International Affairs and History with a minor in Spanish, Tessa Cannizzaro is deeply interested in global governance and the advancement of human rights. She has complemented her studies with certificates in U.S. Intelligence and Global Citizenship, as well as international experience through FSU programs in Valencia, Spain and Pristina, Kosovo, where she focused on human rights and transitional justice. This summer, she will intern with the Institute for War Crimes Committed in Kosovo, gaining hands-on experience supporting war crimes investigations and efforts related to historical memory. Through this work, she hopes to deepen her understanding of international justice and the processes that support post-conflict societies.
