Spencer Cohen

A sophomore at Florida State University majoring in International Affairs and Human Rights & Social Justice with a minor in Arabic, Spencer is passionate about advocacy and global engagement. Originally from Sarasota, Florida, he was inspired to join the Center for the Advancement of Human Rights after becoming involved in refugee support work through campus organizations. He believes that ensuring human rights is essential to giving everyone the opportunity to succeed. Inspired by Holocaust survivor and activist Elie Wiesel, Spencer hopes to pursue a career in refugee law. Outside of his academic work, he is an active member of WVFS Tallahassee’s V89 Sports and enjoys following sports.
