Leona Rindle

Intern

A senior at Florida State University double majoring in Psychology and Human Rights & Social Justice, Leona brings both compassion and global perspective to her work at the Center for the Advancement of Human Rights. Originally from Fairhope, Alabama, and an immigrant herself, she was drawn to CAHR’s mission of supporting individuals in building safer lives in the United States. Her belief that everyone deserves the tools to live fully drives her commitment to advocacy and service. Inspired by Malala Yousafzai’s story, Leona hopes to pursue a career as an international human rights lawyer, working with refugees or Indigenous communities. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, and taking in sunsets at Lake Talquin.
