Jasmeen Santos- Ramirez

A junior at Florida State University majoring in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences, Jasmeen is passionate about building more holistic approaches to legal advocacy. Originally from Largo, Florida, she was drawn to the Center for the Advancement of Human Rights for its hands-on, pro bono work and the opportunity to grow as an advocate through meaningful client engagement. She is particularly interested in bridging the gap between legal analysis and lived experience in human rights work. Inspired by artist and activist Ai Weiwei, Jasmeen hopes to pursue a career as an advocacy lawyer, ideally on an international scale. In her free time, she enjoys paper crafts and visiting Tallahassee Nurseries.
