Samy Sridhar

A junior at Florida State University majoring in Political Science with a minor in Sociology, Samy is committed to advancing human rights through law and public policy. Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, and the child of immigrants, she has witnessed firsthand the complexities of immigration and the importance of access to legal support. Her experiences have shaped her passion for advocating for vulnerable communities and expanding access to justice. Inspired by policy leader Neera Tanden, Samy hopes to attend law school and pursue a career at the intersection of law, government, and public policy. Outside of her academic work, she enjoys walking nature trails and spending time at Lake Ella.
