Camila Maldonado is a fourth-year student pursuing a dual degree in Political Science and Criminology. Upon graduation, Camila intends to pursue a Juris Doctorate in pursuit of becoming an immigration lawyer. With a strong commitment to social justice, she aims to provide legal representation for those who lack a voice and struggle to assert their rights. Camila’s Honor in the Major undergraduate thesis investigates the link between labor trafficking and temporary visas. She has worked with FSU’s Center for Global Engagement with J-1 and F-1 students and scholars, preparing her for a career in immigration law.
