Research

In 2004, CAHR produced the report “Florida Responds to Human Trafficking“, one of the first U.S. research projects to examine human trafficking beginning with the voices and experiences of victims themselves.

The Center also authored the 2010 Strategic Plan for Florida to more effectively coordinate statewide efforts to eliminate trafficking and to better assist human trafficking victims in Florida.

In 2017 the Center researched and produced a report for the F.I.G.H.T Project examining the current successes and challenges of combating human trafficking in 5 southeastern Florida counties. The Center also authored a Statewide Directory of social services for victims and survivors of human trafficking for the state of Florida.
